Our Team, Our Opening Hours and How to Reach Us

Greeting from the Principal

Dear parents

Thank you for your interest in SIS Kassel!

In September 2014, we opened our primary school with reception programme in the Marbachshöhe district of Kassel, followed by our bilingual secondary school in September 2017. This enables us to accompany our students from the reception programme to their graduation.

Our aim is to challenge and encourage our students every day without overburdening them. At the same time, we support them in developing into socially responsible individuals. Respect, openness, tolerance, local roots and cultural diversity play a special role here.

Admission to SIS Kassel is possible at the beginning of the school year and at any time during the year. You are welcome to make an appointment for an interview through our school office. We look forward to your visit!

Sincerely yours
Sebastian Koch

Birgit Breidenbach has been teaching art at SIS Kassel since August 2016. In August 2017, she took over as head of secondary school and has since been teaching ethics as well as art.

Having grown up in Lower Saxony, Birgit Breidenbach first studied fine arts with subsequent international exhibition practice as a freelance artist, and later art history, education and philosophy at the University of Kassel. In 2014, she completed her traineeship in art and philosophy/ethics at the Wilhelmsgymnasium Kassel and taught there until 2015.
