Our Team, Our Opening Hours and How to Reach Us

Greeting from the Principal

Dear parents, dear students,

Thank you for your interest in SIS Kassel!

For more than 10 years, our bilingual primary school with reception class - and, more recently, our bilingual secondary school - has been a part of the Marbachshöhe district in Kassel. Here, we support our students from their first school years all the way to graduation.

Students from many different nations find a home with us and learn together, including German and English - often as a second or third foreign language.

Our goal is to challenge and support our students every day. At the same time, we help them grow into confident personalities who take on social responsibility. Respect, tolerance, strong local roots, and cultural diversity play a central role in this process.

You are welcome to schedule an appointment at the school office at any time.

We look forward to your visit!

Sincerely yours
Dirk Müller-Maguhn

Marleen Enders

Marleen Enders has been teaching at SIS Kassel since 2023 and took over as Head of Upper Secondary School in 2025.

She studied to become a secondary school teacher with a focus on Mathematics and Chemistry at the Ruprecht-Karls University in Heidelberg. After successfully completing her teacher training in Darmstadt, she initially taught at a general secondary school there.

A work-related move brought her and her family to Kassel, where she was ready for new challenges and looking for an inspiring work environment. She found this at SIS Kassel, with its diverse mix of cultures among both students and staff.

A formative period in Marleen Enders’ youth was spent in the United States, where she attended a public school for four years. This experience had a lasting impact on her perspective regarding different teaching and learning cultures and sparked her interest in international approaches to education.

At SIS Kassel, she brings this experience into her work with the upper school, preparing students for the Abitur and the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
