Students and staff received a surprise visit from Samichlaus, together with Schmützli, on 5 December. With the 6 December holiday being such a busy day for them, they made special arrangements to visit our school one day early. Samichlaus and Schmützli met with the kindergarten, primary 1 and primary 2 classes. During the visits, Samichlaus shared the positive feedback he had heard about each class. He also offered tips for improvement. All of these observations were recorded in his large "golden book". Schmützli carried the heavy bag filled with mandarins, peanuts, chocolate, and Lebkuchen for students to share. Although they did not have time to visit the older students, bags of treats with accompanying feedback notes were provided to primary 3 through 6.
