Welcome Back Assembly

During the first week of each new academic year, we hold a whole-school assembly. Mr. Howard welcomes students back, with a special welcome to the new kindergarten and primary students. We are beginning the year focusing on the value of respect, which was highlighted. After the whole-school assembly, buddy classes met together throughout the school. The buddies discussed and wrote down what their wish for how they would like to be treated for the new school year was. These wishes are displayed in the hallway of the entrance to the primary building, as reminders for students throughout the year. It was a lovely activity, where old friends reunited and new friendships were formed.
