SIS Friedrichshafen is a state-recognised private school. It is financed by a combination of tuition paid by parents and state subsidies. It is important to us that as many families as possible benefit from our bilingual programme. Therefore, the fees for the primary and secondary school are income based.
Kindergarten Fees – School Year 2026/27
The parental contributions for kindergarten (for children aged 3 years until school entry) depend on the hours of care, the number of children living in the same household, and the primary place of residence. Fees are payable for 11 months per year.

School Fees Primary and Secondary School – School Year 2026/27
The SIS profile offers bilingual education and care, including instruction, study time, and supervision from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The daily core teaching hours for students in the primary and secondary school run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and are mandatory for all students.
Outside the core teaching hours, students can choose from a wide range of bilingual extracurricular activities, such as sports and exercise clubs, breakfast, afternoon snack, reading or quiet time, and independent study sessions.
Alternatively, the basic program allows for attendance only during the teaching hours:
Primary School: 8:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Secondary School: 8:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Income-Based School Fees
SIS strives to make its educational offering accessible to as many families as possible. Therefore, school fees at SIS Friedrichshafen are income based. For more information, please contact the school office.
Sibling Discount
Families receive a sibling discount of 5 % on the tuition fees for the second or third child enrolled at SIS. For children in kindergarten whose primary place of residence is Friedrichshafen, the sibling discounts specified in the Friedrichshafen municipal fee schedule apply. The one-time entrance fee as well as the fees for the hot lunch programme and other additional services are excluded from this offer.
