In February, SIS Ingolstadt was visited by Axel Burgheim, a German who has been living in Alaska for many years. Once in a while he comes to Germany to give lectures about the fantastic landscape and wildlife of Alaska and Canada.
First of all, he convinced all students and teachers that Alaska is more than only ice and snow by showing pictures of the great variety of animals and plants that can be found in Alaska. Mr Burgheim also brought some objects of study directly from Alaska. The students could see and touch a real bear claw and a big eagle feather. Overall, it was a great experience!
