First Day of School

SIS Frankfurt Opens its Doors

On Monday, SIS Frankfurt opened its doors to students for the first time. Parents and children were greeted by principal Daniel Lauris, their teachers, Ms Auth and Mr Bennett, and teaching assistant Ms Schulze. They welcomed the students to their respective classes in the reception programme, in grade one and two and surprised them with an overdimensional school cone, the traditional German gift for children on their first day of school. After a first lesson together that was spent playing games and getting to know one another, the children conquered the outdoor playground. After posing for a group picture to commemorate the day, parents took their children home, with everybody looking forward to tomorrow and a lot more learning and playing at SIS Frankfurt.
